About Maya
My name is Maya Oppenländer. I’m a holistic practitioner, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, Enneagram coach, and Gene Keys Guide. Through this offering, I bring my deep understanding of relational dynamics—what I call the Algorithms of Love - into our work together.
I'm the mother of four, partner for more than two decades, and passionate about living life in alignment with our innate and unique human potential.
I integrate coaching, therapeutic support, and education to help you grow from survival strategies to a deeper alignment with your true self. By addressing the physical, emotional and mental aspects of your being, I help you transform struggles with partners or children into opportunities for growth, cultivating a resilient foundation for authentic relating.

From early on in my life I was fascinated by relating. It seemed to be the invisible connective tissue of it all. This sent me on a lifelong path of inquiring into the nature of human behaviour and, more fundamentally, into the dynamics of relating, the nature of our being human.
Already during my school years, I immersed myself into philosophy, art, and literature, and sang in a professional youth choir. In my teens and early adult years, I found deep solace in poetry, while I struggled with eating disorders - a coping strategy of my system to release some of the tension that I experienced between mind and matter, my inner and outer world, and between human beings around me.
Searching for wider horizons, inside and out, I spent time abroad, living, traveling, and studying English, American and Spanish Literature at the University of Konstanz. I then worked in an Active School accompanying children (and their parents) in living life from within.

After some years, I felt the need for more therapeutic tools. I consciously decided against studying psychology and committed to my autodidactic and experiential studies in psychosomatics, brain research, developmental laws, trauma deciphering, anthropology, and more.
I explored the wisdom mirror of the Enneagram in depth and I trained in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy. I integrated what I had observed and studied with Rebeca Wild, Joseph Chilton Pearce, Peter Levin, Dr. Gabor Maté, and others.
I understood the fundamental role our body plays, storing all emotional memory and being a “corrective device”.
With myself as my first student, I discovered the power of integrating our three centers of intelligence - our physical, emotional, and mental body - and I use this integration as a foundation for our work together.
Finally, I use the Gene Keys’ self-illuminating teaching as a map to what you came to experience and transform and how you can best serve the whole. This is what I am passionate to share with you.
Raising four children, while remembering consciously what's been stored in my cells and the collective field, deepened my understanding of how we as human beings are meant to live.
-
We mostly come out of our childhood and teenage years in a state of incomplete maturation. All our relational challenges are rooted in this immaturity and lack of orientation. Life constantly invites us into a process of post-maturation.
We live in a time of collective emotional healing - and this can only happen on an individual level, in each one of us.
Through my own experience of feeling all the feelings that arise I could witness the healing transmutation that brings. Having accompanied individuals, couples and families in their process over more than two decades opened my eyes to the immaculate choreography of relational dynamics. It became my passion to translate these dynamics so we can each complete our cycles of maturation into true adulthood - to share our unique gifts with the world, unfold the deeper potential of our relationships, and raise our children according to nature's laws.
“Relating is the connective tissue of life, and the relationship with yourself forms the
foundation of all your relational challenges and joys.”
— Maya Oppenländer
